The Artist

Cesar Ceballos, a respected architect, artist and world traveler, was born in the Philippines and has lived in the United States for decades. He uses colors to express the geometry of nature, and light, to enhance the volume and drama in his paintings. Inspired by his travels, his watercolor and drawing techniques spark the imagination and have been on display from Cape Cod to Las Vegas, and more recently, in Italy.  He exhibits regularly at City Lights Art Gallery.

Cesar belongs to the Urban Sketchers of Las Vegas and serves on the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Architects, Las Vegas Chapter. As a licensed architect in 3 US states with a Master of Architecture Degree from the New School of Architecture & Design, Mr. Ceballos extends his public service including involvement with Freedom by Design at University of Nevada’s AIAS in partnership with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, where he mentors architecture students at UNLV School of Architecture.

His honors include formal recognition from the United States House of Representatives for the 2020 Art Exhibition of Cultural Heritage.

He is also in the process of completing a book about sketching while traveling. It is expected to be out in 2021.
